Appointments and organizational changes at ICD – Quebec

Ms. Maryse Bertrand, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Corporate Directors Quebec Chapter (ICD – Quebec) is pleased to announce the appointments of Elaine Barsalou as President and CEO and Nathalie Francisci as new Governor of ICD – Quebec.

Ms. Barsalou, who held the position of vice-president, succeeds Mr. Clemens Mayr who assumed the mandate of president and chief executive officer since June 2017. She will be responsible for the development of the activities and their content and will ensure that ICD – Quebec remains the hub of exchanges on governance in Quebec.

Ms. Francisci, who contributed to the establishment of the chapter of ICD in Quebec and who was its President and CEO then its Co-Chair, becomes governor, a function newly created by the board of directors to ensure the influence and development of the ICD – Quebec’s external links, at the level of its partners, directors of companies and other supporters of good governance. Her entry into office will be on September 1st. Both will work together to achieve the mission and strategic plan of ICD – Quebec in alignment with the ICD national office .
